Tatcha in harmony with Space NK ‘Forest Awakening’ Experiential Pop-Up

For the launch of the Tatcha ‘Forest of Awakening’ collection, we created an 11-day experiential pop-up for Tatcha and Space NK, in collaboration with Backlash. Taking place in Covent Garden, the multi-sensory experience was inspired by the soothing Hinoki forests of Japan and the benefits of shinrin-yoku (forest bathing).

Visitors began their journey through the 18 x 6m ‘greenhouse’ at ‘The Garden of Tranquility’, before experiencing an immersive 4D headphone-guided forest bathing meditation. Moving into the calming ‘Room of Wa’ retail space, consumers could then trial and shop the range. The external living wall featured an augmented reality experience, coming to life digitally with Japanese flowers and birds when viewed through a smartphone.
