The Unseen Dover Street Market Installation

We worked with award-winning British beauty brand, The Unseen to create an installation that showcased the science and innovation behind their ‘Spectra’ reflective eye colour range. The eyeshadows change colour (and from matt to glitter) on-screen under a camera flash. We featured the same technology within paint applied onto specially-sculpted mannequins.

The design was inspired by the famous Antonio Canova marble sculpture ‘The Three Graces’ which depicts the three daughters of Zeus (representing mirth, elegance and youth/beauty.) The sculpture was specially made to give each of the figures a more natural female form and the hands and feet on each of each Grace were cast from real people.
